Oyster Give Back
"People protect what they love"
— Jacques Yves Cousteau
Our dedication to the environment and community has many facets. We strive to ensure the highest standard of environmentally safe, sustainably sourced seafood from both local and international waters, respecting seasonality and the natural essence of the sea. Additionally, we have created programming such as our Oyster Give Back and OysterFest as a means of raising funds to support a variety of local causes.
Since 2014, we have raised over $260,825.50!
We donate 5 cents for every oyster sold during lunch and happy hour service to our local community, and we change the organization we give back to every quarter. Past beneficiaries have included the Napa Valley Community Foundation, Cancer Prevention Institute of California, and Make A Wish Greater Bay Area (full list below). Our Oyster Give Back campaign raised $6,095 during the second quarter of 2025.
Our third quarter of 2025 charitable partner is The Edible Schoolyard Project.
The Edible Schoolyard Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the transformation of public education by using organic school gardens, community farms, kitchens, and cafeterias to teach both academic subjects and the values of nourishment, stewardship and community. We teach Edible Education, providing hands-on experiences that connect students to food, nature, and each other. Through School Supported Agriculture, we create partnerships that connect schools with local farmers, driving a regenerative food system and nourishing our children and our communities. Together, Edible Education and School-Supported Agriculture offer a hopeful path forward for our children and the planet – one that nourishes students, supports educators, uplifts farmers, and revitalizes public education.
